Author Guidelines

General Requirements Manuscripts submitted to ISTE-International must be original, unpublished work not currently under review elsewhere. All submissions must be written in clear, academic English or standard Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).

Manuscript Format

  • Document Type: Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) or RTF format.

  • Length: 4,000 to 8,000 words (including references).

  • Typography: Times New Roman, 11 pt, 1.15 spacing.

  • Anonymity: To ensure a blind peer-review process, authors must remove any identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgments) from the main manuscript file.

Manuscript Structure (IMRAD) The manuscript should generally follow the IMRAD structure:

  1. Title: Concise and informative (Max 15 words).

  2. Abstract: A single paragraph of 150-250 words summarizing the research background, objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusion. Include 3-5 keywords.

  3. Introduction: Establish the context, state the research gap, and outline the research objectives.

  4. Methods: Detail the research design, data collection, and analysis techniques.

  5. Results and Discussion: Present the findings logically and interpret their significance in relation to existing literature.

  6. Conclusion: Summarize the main contributions and suggest future research directions.

References All citations and references must adhere to the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style. We strongly recommend using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Plagiarism Policy ISTE-International maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin. Submissions with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be immediately desk-rejected.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
